EFP Neurofeedback

Dr. Tendler offers Prism by Gray Matters Health to patients struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder. Prism is an amygdala-derived EEG fMRI-guided pattern (EFP) neurofeedback device. Patients wear an EEG cap with eight electrodes that record a biomarker based on the activity of the amygdala EFP. As patients attend fifteen sessions of neurofeedback, their brain learns to down-regulate the activity of the amygdala-derived EFP, and 70% improve clinically.
